The State of New Mexico is progressive and growing by leaps and bounds. A number of high tech firms have moved into the state and set up operations. One of those firms is a major microchip manufacturer named "Intel." Speaking of high tech, don't forget that New Mexico also boosts the Los Alamos Laboritories as well. That facility has been involved in changing our World for many years.

The Sandia Mountain Range - Albuquerque, New Mexico

The Sandia's have long been a focal point of the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The mountains are so recognizable that people all over the country see them and instantly associate them with Albuquerque. If you haven't run the trail that starts near the Tramway and travels up the mountain to the summit at Sandia Peak, you simply have to do it. There is actually a foot race that is held each year that covers that same trail.

Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Fiesta

The Albuquerque, New Mexico annual hot air balloon fiesta has become a favorite event for many folks in and around the state. Balloon pilots from all over the country descend upon the city each October to enjoy one of the Worlds best places for hot air ballooning. The winds are perfect and the terrain makes the ride worth the price of admission.

Be proud New Mexico! You have so many blessings and so much to be thankful for. There isn't a better place to live and work anywhere in the country than the state of New Mexico. Top of the Sandia Mountains

Flyline Search Marketing CEO Mark Lein and wife Jan, enjoying some time at one of our favorite New Mexico locations (Sandia Peak). If you've never taken time to drive up to the peak, it's breathtaking! The hamburgers they serve in the little shop at the top of the mountain aren't bad either.

Take your family up the mountain for a picnik this July 4th weekend. The park offers lots of great picnik spots for people to enjoy the day and the scenary, while eating a nice picnik lunch. There are day and overnight camping spots, hiking trails and plenty of beautiful photo ops on the way up the mountain.

If you decide not to hang out in the Sandia mountains above Albuquerque, may we suggest traveling another 3 hours north and hanging out in the Northern New Mexico mountains around Chama. This weekend would also be a great time to do some fishing and enjoy some great family time. Whatever you decide to do and where ever in New Mexico you happen to be, we hope that you have a truly wonderful holiday weekend.

Just north of Santa Fe, New Mexico,  nestled in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains you will find a small church. The people of New Mexico know this church as El Santuario de Chimayó. This church is thought to hold incredible healing powers. Every year, people from all around New Mexico, in fact, from many states around New Mexico, come to this church seeking the healing power of our heavenly father. Believe me when I tell you that we truly believe that Chimayó is a healing place. There is little doubt in our mind that people who visit Chimayó, find peace, strength and healing after visiting this incredibly spiritual place. We also believe that God does in fact work miracles. Winter Is Nearing An End In Northern New Mexico & Colorado

Northern New Mexico Winters Are Long!!

Winter appears to have finally begun to break in Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado. Temperatures are rising and the snow is slowly beginning to melt. A dear friend advised me this evening that they are expecting snow in Los Alamos this evening. Hopefully, that will be one of the last for this winter season.  

Take a look at this photo taken from Wolf Creek Pass last Summer. Ever seen anything more beautiful? Up until recently this particular pass was literally under feet of the white stuff. It won't be long now and the flowers will be blooming and the birds singing their Summer time songs. Oh I look forward to that!

My Husband Joe, daughter Cameron and I are heading for the mountains this weekend. Putting the finishing touches on a mountain cabin we have been working on in Albuquerque all winter. Having the home transported up to the mountains this weekend. Yeah! My little piece of heaven on earth.

Ballooning in Albuquerque has become an incredibly popular thing to do. If you haven't been to the Albuquerque Balloon Festival, you simply have to attend. The event takes place in October each year. The Balloon park in Albuquerque is assessible to you year around. Guess what? They also hot air balloon in Georgia as well. Only one problem, in Georgia we have more trees than pretty much anywhere on the planet except our National Parks. Balloon pilots routinely land where-ever they can find space. Sometimes that includes landing in neighborhoods. This wayward balloon pilot brought his ship down in my next door neighbors yard. Not good. The neighbor has a really big dog! It doesn't like balloons or balloon pilots. Hit the Gas!!!
