Winter Time In New Mexico
Winter has arrived in parts of New Mexico. The warm Summer days have melted away and the frosty cold winds of Winter are beginning to grip the State. So far, snows have been relatively lite, however, by December, Winter will pretty much be in full swing. People who live in New Mexico have come to embrace winter and many actually count these frigid months as their favorite part of the year.
Snow now covers many of the high mountain peaks. At this point the drifts aren't very deep, within a matter of a month or so, you can expect to see huge accumulations in the highest elevations.
